He is a rare generalist with specialization, viewing finance, people, processes, technology and guest experience as inseparable dimensions.
Beyond operations, Mr. Bucher operates at the corporate level: engaging with Boards of Directors, owners and investors, conducting due diligence and valuations, defining governance structures, building reporting frameworks and presenting ROI scenarios. Throughout his career, Mr. Bucher has led projects for major hotel groups such as Meliá Hotels International, InterContinental Hotels Group, Occidental Hotels & Resorts, and Allegro Resorts, as well as for iconic independent properties including Baur au Lac (Zurich, LHW/AAA), Maksoud Plaza (São Paulo, LHW/AAA), Casa de Campo (Dominican Republic, LHW), and Jumby Bay Island (Antigua, Rosewood). Results include EBITDA growth, asset value enhancement, and international recognition.
